Fen Ruins

Fen Ruins
I created this scene after I saw Florian Zenz striking composition and started blocking it out. With time i felt other inspirations change alot of the architecture and take the scene into a different direction while still utilising the same compositional building blocks.

While working with the talented people at Hazelight last year I felt incredibly inspired to up my game and practice some of the things I learned. The main techniques I wanted to practice with the scene where making an exterior scene, Sculpting, creating better assets more effectively and improving my Lighting.
I got a lot of wonderful feedback while working on this from the wonderful people at Dinusty, my talented classmate and some friends (the ones linked down below) that helped me get this far.

Jared Sobottas post on riverstones specifically inspired me to try this out for myself and I found myself really liking this workflow, will keep using it for future projects!
